Drafting Your Series Outline
Once you have the series type, topic, and name down it helps to have an overarching structure your going to follow. This level of planning makes each episode feel purpose full and connected, urging viewers to binge watch the existing episode in expectation of the next one.
Write this table down in your journal and draft a general plan: (it can be more than 7 videos)
Video # | Topic | Lesson/Step/Challenge |
|---|---|---|
1 | ||
2 | ||
3 | ||
4 | ||
5 | ||

This make sure you can use the appointment method in the best way possible.
This is as simple as including a line in your CTA like “follow for the next episode, see ya tomorrow!” (or some rendition.)
This method acts works as a soft CTA due to it following the natural flow of the script, making it way more likely for them to follow. (When you have your series planned out it’s way easier to know what the CTA needs to be.)
And if the series is good, people will WANT to see the next episode. This allows you to build hype around the series through stories and other means.
“Next episode dropping this Thursday @ 5pm EST - be there.”
