Series Planning: Introduction
Creating a series is the best thing to invest your time into. They allow you become “known” for something easier, with viewers more likely to follow because they know its episodic, meaning t
It also makes a lot of sense why series do so well.
See, initially Instagram reels were “Do these 5 things to get [dream result.].” Which was alright, viewers did the thing and sometimes got the outcome BUT they knew nothing about the person who told them to do so.
Then we saw a shift to storytelling content, “Before I was [pain point] but then I did these 5 things and became [dream result.]”
Now viewers knew that you are someone like them, who struggled with the same things they do, AND found a way to not struggle with it any more.
And now we’re on the peak of this. As cinematography and authentic storytelling become more and more integral to growth it makes sense why people who want to tune in at “episode 1” of the pain they’re facing.
Like do you think if Breaking Bad started on the final episode it would be know as one of, if not, the, greatest shows of all time?
So now it’s: “Is is possible for a [pain] [avatar] to become [dream result] in 3 months, even if I have no idea what I’m doing? Well I don’t know but follow along to find out.”
This is so powerful because now we have people watching your video:
seeing your going to go on a journey that’s relevant to them
knowing that if they like this video, they’re most likely going to enjoy the next one
AND they get to know you along the way.
Now how do we make your series successfully pull all of this off?
